Well did go to Kansas City and enjoyed myself. Tried new restaurants and did alot of relaxing and knitting. We left Monday morning and came back very early Friday. It was a might bit on the windy side but I did not blow away.
Got some work done on an afghan and a blouse that I am making my daughter.
In rememberance to all those who have given their lives and/or their futures in the quest to keep out country free THANK YOU. My gratitude to you and your family cannot be measured. I have been lucky and I have not known anyone who gave the ultimate sacrifice but yet in ways I have know then all. They walked the same paths that I walk, go the same places I go and look at the same sky that I do. You will never be forgotten.

TGIF
Well another week has come and gone. Been a rather quiet week. I have been working on my knitting (can't say what as the person it is for reads the blog.) Had tragic news this week, our former insurance agent was hit and killed by a train. Seems that this is the week for accidents in Fargo.
Weather has been beautiful as usual for this time of year. Temps in the 70's and 80's with the lows in the 40's.
Oh yeah, had an appt with the PA at the MS clinic. Everything is doing good. No answers to questions though, basically we have to wait and see if it continues. Still not on any meds for it as it is stable and we do not want to risk the side effects.
A dear friend of mine is being tested to see if her pancreas is acting up again. She had surgery in January for a neoplasm and so hoped that she was done. I definately know how she feels.
Tonight I am going to try to go to Karoake. Been trying all month but something or another comes up. So once again I will try.
Hubby is going to Kansas City next week for a meeting. I would go but have a Doctor's appt for follow-up on my gall bladder surgery. Who knows I might get a wild hair and change the appt. I do so need a vacation. And it would give me so much free time to knit.
Well enough for today. Hope all are well.

Happy Monday
I hope all had a great Mother's Day. I went to my oldest daughter's place and the other girls joined us. Nice and relaxing. We have chicken done on the grill, potato salad, tuna salad, lettuce salad and brownies. Well we were pretty healthy.
I am recovering nicely, just a little pain now. Yes, I did bring my knitting with. There are very few places I go that I do not carry my knitting. I have what I call my no-brainer project that I take, I do not need the pattern and it is a very easy stitch. Once I am able to get my hubby to teach me on how to use my digital camera and the scanner I will start posting some of the work I am doing.
Did some research last night and am going to try contintental knitting and maybe even try some magic loom knitting. I am always looking for new ways of doing old things.
Hope you all have just a wonderful day and enjoy the spring weather.

Update
Well the angioplasty went as well as can be expected they were able to open both sides and further look at the kidney showed that I have lost it. On Sunday after awaking in pain I went to the ER to only have to undergo emergency gall bladder surgery so this is recovery week so nothing really to report.

Tomorrow
Well tomorrow is the day that I have my angioplasty set for. I need to be at the hospital at 7am with the procedure at 8:30. Hopefully it will be good news.
Went to my GI the other day, so far everything is looking good. Since I met the age of 50 this last year I have to have a base line colonoscopy and will have that next Thursday.
Started a sweater with lace last night. There was a yf intstruction in it and I looked forever to find out that in the USA we use YO. Today I am setting up my crafts to start back on working in plastic canvas. Still working on the other WIP's so not getting bored.
Weather has been absolutely beautiful, low 70's that is what I love. Except I saw some bees the other day. YUCK
Well gotta get going will write after the procedure tomorrow if I am awake
