Well is seems like I managed to sleep through the wicked weather this weekend. We had Thunderstorms on Sunday morning and night and I slept like a baby.
Things have been going well, been working on crafts. We had the Blue Angels in town this weekend which is a Navy precision flying team. They were awesome. Received news this weekend that a dear friend of mine died on June 6th. Rest in Peace Linda. She has suffered with Scleroderma for a number of years.

- I am happily married to a great guy for 23 years. I have 4 beautiful daughters, 1 stepson and 8 grandchildren. I have 2 German Shepherd/Norweigian Elkhounds who are my babies. I have just recently had to put to sleep my two cats, one on 09/09/2005 and one on 4/4/07. 2006, was a sad year for our family, we lost my mother on 4/11/06, and I still miss her very much, my hubby lost a uncle and aunt and we lost a very, very dear friend in August, Tim Kelly. Who is also missed daily.

Thanks for sharing your blog link! I bet that was great to see the Blue Angels. It was sad that they lost one in the crash months back. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. A lifelong friend of mine her Mother has Scleroderma ... it's such a debilitating disease.
I was able to get a bunch of knitting done today while waiting for Dad's colonoscopy and chatting with a very nice woman. She's just getting over breast cancer.
I'll enjoy reading your blogs!!!
